February Letter from the Chair

2023 is off to an energized and productive start with Chamber of Commerce events all across Davie County! Members and guests came out to support Johnson House Bakery & Tea Room/Mrs. Laura’s Rolls in Farmington at their Ribbon-Cutting Event, the “Cash Mob” did some surprise shopping at The Vintage Sunflower in Mocksville, and Cardinal Creek Candles and Gifts enjoyed a great turnout at its Ribbon-Cutting Event in Bermuda Run. Community leaders also welcomed Chick-Fil-A at their Groundbreaking Ceremony for their new location in Bermuda Run.

The Chamber welcomes and looks forward to serving our newest members including the Food Lion grocery stores in Mocksville and Bermuda Run, Girl’s Day Out Boutique in Bermuda Run, and Carolina QuickCare on Yadkinville Road in Mocksville.

The energy continues in February! Join us for the Main St. Brokers’ Ribbon Cutting this Thursday, February 9. Be sure to visit the Calendar of Events page on the Chamber’s website and follow the Chamber on social media for newly added events.

The annual State of Davie Event is quickly approaching! This exciting can’t miss event offers networking opportunities with business leaders from across Davie County and economic insights for the year ahead. A sold-out event every year, contact the Chamber for tickets and sponsorship opportunities!

These events are just a snapshot of how we unite to serve the businesses of Davie County. I invite you to reach out to myself, Caroline, Alyson, or Marie. We are delighted to learn more about your business and craft ways we can cater to your success!

With gratitude,

Melinda Szeliga
